In this position, you will be responsible for fabricating pipe for fire protection systems by cutting, threading, weld checking each pipe and then bundling pipe for each job.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Use various machineryFirst and second shift availableStudy and interpret assembly instructionsListen to directions from supervisorsFabricate and assemble pipe per instructionsRead parts list and determine if all parts are presentAssemble tools, materials, and various componentsInterpret measurementsVerify specificationsEnsure all parts are fitted and screwed in properlyResolve assembly and production issues, with managements assistanceTroubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as neededEnsure working environment is clean and safeReport errors in productionOther duties as assignedQualifications:Read a tape measure down to a .Be dependableGood attendance and a positive attitude are critical for this positionGood work ethic and a willingness to learnMust be able to communicate ideas, thoughts, etc. both verbally and in written formMust be able to work Saturday (will count against attendance record if missed).Must be 18 years or olderAttention to detailAbility to follow directions and communicate with othersAbility to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs regularlyAbility to stand, bend, twist, and walk for 8-12 hour shiftsAbility to pass a drug testNotice to prospective employees: There have been fraudulent postings and emails regarding job openings.
